Established by The Salvation Army, the Salvation Army Harbor Light Center offers specialized treatment to people who want to beat their addiction to drugs and alcohol. The Harbor Light Center offers many services, such as 12-Step groups and Withdrawal Management with the help of Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT). The center focuses on addressing the whole person by offering family education, drug testing, and a mix of one-on-one, group, and spiritual therapy. Cognitive-based group sessions are held three times a week for three hours each, for eight to sixteen weeks. Clients take part in these classes. The goal of this organized program is to help people on their way to recovery and long-term sobriety.
